About Shane

I’m Shane Stever.  I’m from Atlanta, but I go to school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  Currently, I am a senior majoring in Human & Organizational Development with a minor in Film Studies.  I started this blog to keep my friends and family updated as I studied abroad in New Zealand for the fall semester of 2008, but now I use it to share my insights and activities with whomever will read them.

I’m a Christian and a member of Beta Upsilon Chi, a Christian fraternity at Vanderbilt.  I love music.  I sing, play several instruments, and I enjoy composing and recording.  I also take a lot of pictures on my Canon Digital Rebel XT.  And some people think I’m funny.

I’m all about creating and maintaining genuine relationships with people.

I hope you enjoy my blog!

  1. Hi Shane.

My name is Diana and I am very interested in interning in New Zealand next summer. I’m excited to have stumbled across your blog. I’d love to talk to you a little more so whenever you’re availble, email me. I have lots of questions to ask.

Sorry if this is kinda weird/awkward/any adjective you’d like use.

  2. I don’t think you’re funny, Indian Giver!

  5. Hey Shane!

Your mom & dad gave us the address so that we could see some of your photos. Wow! I can only imagine how spectacular it must be to see these places in person! And your blogs are hilarious! They said you will be home around the 9th of November? I’m sure you will enjoy being at home for a little while. We’ll be praying for safe travel for you and until then stay off of horses on slippery slopes! enjoy & be safe! bruce & lisa

  6. I hope that your time in New Zealand is everything you hoped it would be. I look forward to reading your blogs and hearing about your experiences there. You are missed!

  7. Whats up my Christian ex-roommate. Just thought I would post something on your little blogeroo. Have a good summer at Jesus camp. I will be at secular old Kooch-I-Ching again. Anyway, that’s about all I have to say. Be my friend next year at school or I will swiftly end you life with a javelin as you walk unsuspectingly across Alumni Lawn.

    Go with god.

    -Ben
